Generally in yoga we learn to withdraw within ourselves to find peace and happiness. Through partner yoga, we take it to another level by expanding ourselves and discovering that happiness comes not only from within but helps us create an environment that reflects that happiness. By learning to include others not only do we have more fun, but we learn to let go and free ourselves from our daily stressors and worry that life throws at us.
In partner yoga we connect with one another in new and fun ways, as we explore safe and loving touch, help each other stretch farther than usual, balance in ways we could not by ourselves, and learn deep breathing through synchronicity. A partner yoga class can be a romantic experience or a fun and interactive way for family and/or friends to connect. Yoga becomes a magical experience when you have a partner to share your practice with!
